Hanging anything on the wall is a pain, especially if it's multiple decor pieces. Leveling? Annoying. Finding the distance between hooks? Annoying. Making sure it's centered? Annoying.
Here's my favorite trick to hang anything in a heartbeat!
Materials:
Long level
Pencil
Tape
Nails (or screws/anchors for heavier pieces + drill bit)
Hammer
Draw a level line at the height you will hang your piece. Make the line longer than necessary to allow for some wiggle room later.
On the back of whatever you're hanging (in my case a mirror), tightly lay tape across each hanging bracket.
Poke holes through the tape at each bracket.
Lay the tape across the level line on the wall at desired place.
For lighter pieces, hammer nails into wall through the tape holes.
For heavier pieces, drill pilot holes and tap in plastic anchors with a hammer. Drill the screws into the anchor, leaving them sticking out just enough to hang something on.
Hang your piece!
It’s a simple as that! No difficulty getting things level and no fuss trying to align your brackets on the wall.
Happy decorating, friends <3
